Local CSR sponsorship
| WSSA’s CSR programme forms part of our ISO management system and is implemented through a dedicated procedure involving careful selection criteria, consultation with stakeholders, and ongoing follow-up on projects and initiatives. Examples of some of the way in which WSSA has recently given back to local South African communities include: * Sustainable, income-generating sewing projects for rural women * Hospitality studies equipment provision to rural schools * Rural gardening and small-scale farming projects * Donation of learning materials and playground equipment to nursery schools and AIDS orphanages * Renovation of a crèche and donation of equipment and materials * Sports equipment provision to rural schools * Community shelters |
