Asset Management
| A structured and well-executed asset management programme must underpin any water service in order to ensure its sustainability and efficiency. WSSA is a trusted provider of asset management services, including: Asset Inventory and Condition Assessment – All assets are identified, referenced and captured on the asset inventory database. As part of this programme, each asset is inspected, assessed and graded, according to its status and condition. The assessment identifies whether maintenance, repairs, refurbishment or replacement is required, and outlines budgets and priorities for such work. Once completed, the inventory is updated and maintained on an ongoing basis. Maintenance and Predictive Maintenance – WSSA provides an extensive maintenance and predictive maintenance service, from training of on-site personnel for first-line maintenance to routine maintenance services offered by our area workshops and mobile teams. Repairs and refurbishment – As part of most of our contracts, WSSA takes responsibility for the refurbishment and ongoing repair of system assets. Replacement and Upgrade – WSSA provides a comprehensive range of services for asset replacement and upgrades. We also provide construction or turnkey solutions for the upgrade or expansion of existing systems. |
